Something a little different if there are any fans of ‘60’s music and stuff that was not played often.

This is the first I’m hearing about this man bit I’ll give his show a chance.

From local newspaper, it’s a good article and has a video of this huge collection.

And link to his website

I grew up (came of age) in Myrtle Beach, SC.   It was "Beach Music".   Otis Redding, The Four Tops, The Impressions, The Coasters, The Tams, Little Anthony and the Imperials, The Platters, Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs, Willie Tee, The Isley Brothers, and Major Lance (who was introduced to me by my first room mate at Clemson in 1964)....

I saw the Four Tops, The Impressions, and Little Anthony and the Imperials in person back then (at Clemson or back at the Beach Club in Myrtle Beach), just to name a few.   Saw Mary Wells, live, at Newberry College in 1965.

And I still have them as a major part of the music I listen to when driving or riding.  And some vinyl as well but it's mostly 33 1/3 albums.

By the way, I am not sure of the name of the Beach Music club/place I mentioned above.  I can tell you that it was on the left hand side of US 17 as you were headed North from Myrtle Beach toward Ocean Drive (now called North Myrtle Beach).

And Beach Music was a big part of the bands and groups that played at Clemson in the 60's while I was attending school there.
