There is a great new feature in iPhone 15 that many who record video can use. When you recorded video in the past on Iphone you could only use the in phone storage and video quality suffered due in part to storage. Now on the new 15 pro and pro max you can tether a video right to a ssd storage.
So go to video plug in your ssd and record right to that now that Iphone come with a USB C connector. No longer are you solely tied to the Apple Eco system on this feature since its a plug and play feature. The quality that is available is exceptional and you can finally store the videos of motorcycle rides, vacations and anything right on a external storage drive, hook that up your computer and down load and edit it as you wish.
That is a big plus not only for quality but also for convince and length and storage of the videos.
I left a video and started it to the point that explains this feature and how to use it but the whole video is good on the new upgrades to the phone and camera system.
I dont know if it would tether right to a NVMe which would make the external stuff or clutter no bigger than a large pack of gum since the NVMe storage is way smaller than the SSD. Either one is really durable and you can get premade external drives that are almost bullet proof and in storage ranges to about 4 terabytes. So there would be no problem shooting anywhere and as much as you want even in the rain or hiking or on a motorcycle.
Exsisting phone mounts can be used and a long enough USB cable to go to the storage anywhere on the motorcycle. Heck with the weathproof SSD external storage drives you could even bungee it to the handle bars and record your whole ride, bring it home and edit it as you wish on the home computers. Posting it would be much easier also and eliminates a lot of time while giving much better quality.
