Should we buy them larger screen computers - or - a ticket home, permanently?

This is one of their THREE DAY WORK WEEKS that we all pay for.  I am ready to start from the beginning by voting out all elected officials and not letting any of them stay in office for more than two terms.  No more lifelong healthcare, retirement, voting in their own pay raises, taking perks on our taxes, etc.

House Minority Leader  Lawrence F. Cafero Jr. , R-Norwalk, pictured standing, far  right, speaks while colleagues Rep. Barbara Lambert,  D-Milford and Rep. Jack F. Hennessy, D-Bridgeport, play solitaire Monday night as the House convened to vote on a  new budget. (AP)

The guy sitting in the row in front of these two....  he's on Facebook, and the guy behind Hennessy is checking out the baseball scores.

These are the folks that couldn't get the budget out by Oct. 1,  and are about to control your health care, cap and trade, and the list goes on....  tickedoff  tickedoff

Sheesh!  Vote everyone of those ba$tard$ out and start over.  How could it be worse.

Where is credit for small businesses that employ half of working Americans?

Where are the jobs?

Where are the regulations to reel in the big banks so we don't have another financial meltdown in a few years?

Why do big bank CEOs get 100 million bonuses when they are the greedy a$$holes responsible for the current meltdown?

What did the voter/taxpayer get for bailing them out?  No credit, no jobs, and no retirement!

I read that there 30,000 lobbyists cruising the halls of Congress constantly in the face of our representatives.  I send my congressmen email and get canned crap back in reply.

I could go on and on...

But what's the point?  Just vote against the incumbent.

So you suggest Voting out the few good ones along with the bad ones ? Then what? Will they be replaced with a larger percentage of good ones by voting that way? That is a gamble any way you look at it and judging by the sheer numbers of worthless politicians that will be the candidates to fill the now EMPTY SPACES I think the odds are against doing any better by voting them out. Voting one out means you are voting one IN!  :tickedoff:If you dont care who is voted in as long as they are not an incumbent .....I hope you do us all a favor and forget to vote entirely!

Yea I think getting em all out is a good thing... shake things up a bit, you know they all drink from the same troth anyhow.  And until we clean house and let em know that we are tired of their BS.... the BS will continue.  But the problem in voting them all out means you have to vote someone else in to take their spot.....and even those new ones are drinking from the same troth.  So, given the system we have to work with, the best you can do is to change the dirty water now and then to maybe some less dirty water..... and hope for the best.

Let them stay!  Smiley But, make them live under the same laws and bills they are passing for the rest of us  tickedoff . Same retirement, pay, health care, etc. Then and only then will things improve. Two terms your done, two months to campaign before election day, cap on campaign spending, any excess goes to paying off the deficit.  cooldude

I can't believe I just posted on a political post, the long winter is getting to me!   2funny crazy2

At the very least we should demand the same healthcare they have and if they don`nt think we deserve as good as them, vote them out. Why are we letting them decide what`s good for us? We should be able to withold their pay.
