With such small backseats, I assume that once stopped of a violation rather than take you in, they just shoot you?

Fewer tickets will be written because those are so hard to get in and out of that the troopers will just say, "Nah".

I believe this will be a team sport. One Mustang and one or two Yukons!

That's for sure!  Grin  Probably issued only to troopers < 30 years of age and in prime physical condition.

Interesting, especially since I'm a Mustang enthusiast/owner. I had a 68 Mustang in High School and have a 2000 GT now.

When I was stationed at Laughlin AFB Texas in 1982 t0 85, the State Troopers had the Mustang 5.0s. Boy were they fast. I was an Air Force Security Police and we had a couple of the 1984 Ford LTDs with the 5.0 engine. They were fast too. Way to much power for a police car on such a small Air Force base. The base speed limit was 25 mph and you could get from one end of the base to the other in less than 5 minutes. Only the shift supervisor or commander were allowed to drive them. Our other Patrol cars were the Chrysler K cars which were awful. Always breaking down.

I had a 5.0 Mustang. An 86 GT with the 5 speed, I bought it new and it was fast for its day.

RE. tickets. I grew up in a small town in N/E Illinois. The local leo was so fat , police if you got stopped , he would call you to his car to issue a ticket. 2funny We found out that if we stayed in our car , the ticket was not received and no court date issued. Evil Sometimes he would pull up next to us and try to hand over the ticket or toss it into our car.  crazy2
