Nope but, it's rumored that it's still available from North Korea and parts of the middle east.

Not a lot of them were sold (Less than 5,000), way too expensive! $49.95 at the time, which is ~$650 in today's almost worthless money. Interesting read... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilbert_U-238_Atomic_Energy_Laboratory

There’s just not much innovation in toys anymore! I would like to see an electromagnetic rail gun that could be powered by the electric cars charging port. Of course it would need to include some armor plating to use as targets.

No, but I got one of those vinegar and baking soda powered plastic rocket ships. Mom wouldn't let me shoot if off in the house though.

Once I got a chemistry set for my birthday but after about 2 weeks dad took it away from me. Never told me why but I asked one time as an adult and his answer was simple; "self preservation of both the house and their health." I had added a few other liquids to the mix and it blew up the dog house. The dog wasn't home at the time but was a bit confused when she returned...no leash law back then. I never did find the windcock that was mounted on the roof.

Heh, John's comment reminded me of a story.... As a youth we bought a chemistry kit from a garage sale...
We had a small wading pool that summer, and it'd gotten green and funky...
Looking in my shiny new chemistry set I saw a recipe for chlorine... Ahha, thought little Serk, I could make chlorine and clean our pool up!
Read the instructions, lots of water, some active ingredients.... Yup yup yup, don't need that water, let's make it full power! Mixed the stuff up in a glass baby food jar, then left it in the sun for a day or so...
Told my friend at the time that I'd made chlorine...
Na-uh, no you didn't....
Yes I did! Right there, smell it!
Took the lid off, took a deep whiff and promptly fell over unconscious..
His brother thought he was pulling a prank on him, so HE took a deep whiff, and then HE passed out as well...
I thought both of 'em were messing with me, so I went to take a whiff, but at a distance.... Woah, that BURNS!
So yeah, we all ended up in the ER, I was fine, but the other two had managed to burn their lungs out a bit. Not BAD BAD, but... bad... I'd evidently made concentrated chlorine gas.
...my parents took the chemistry kit away after that.

Not a chemistry set, but one of my best friends growing up was raised by three old ladies; gramma, great aunt, and mom. All over 70.
The old ladies liked to make beer. By the bottle. A shitload of it too, lining the basement walls.
We tried some once and it was awful, and it had to be strained of heavy sediment.
Anyway, one year, I don't know what they did wrong, but most of the bottles exploded one night. It was a terrible mess, and the odor so foul they all had to move out of the house. Used professional hazmat house cleaners.

I didn’t get that but I did get a chemistry set one year. It went in the garbage can the first time I stunk up the entire house.
