Hail to the victors. Michael Penix (Washington QB) may be a great passing quarterback, and 2d in this year's Heisman, but he repeatedly threw the ball away rather than get hit all game long, with 2 interceptions. He was repeatedly injured at Indiana, but that's no way to play quarterback for your team. 27 of 51 for 255 notwithstanding. And I think Alabama could have whipped Washington too.

He was in obvious pain in the 4th quarter. They scored 1 touchdown and need 3 to tie. What's the point in taking more abuse? Give the back up some experience.

Sherrone Moore, 37, introduced as Michigan's head football coach Moore is the first Black head coach in Michigan football history, and, at 37, he is the youngest head football coach at Michigan in more than a half-century, since Bump Elliott took over at 34 in 1959. This past season, in addition to OC and offensive-line coach, he and had a 4 game audition with 4 victories, including over Penn State and THE team down south.

The real reason(s) for Jim Harbaugh's departure from UofM is not in the news. There is conjecture.
I'm sorry to see him go.
He took two separate 3-game suspensions (agreed to by the U and him) sort of to head off the NCAA investigations, which are still not done. So far as we know they have no evidence Harbaugh did anything wrong (subordinates, yes). So I think that's pissed him off. Once gone (now), they can do nothing to him at all.
And I think, having taken over and rebuilt UofM, both the team and the coaching staff, gone to the CFP (final 4) three years in a row, and finally won a nationals championship, he's looking for a new challenge.
The money at the LA Chargers is big, but his UofM money was big too. I don't think the money is a main reason for him leaving.

Jim,s M contract would have made him the highest paid college coach- You are correct but there is more: he wants to win the Super Bowl and sit at the big kid’s table in his family : Did you see Sharrone Moore’a contract??? 5.5mil$/ year + another couple million in incentives for B1G Champs, playoff appearances/ Natty Appearances & Natty Champions & Scholastic Champions & victories over THE team down south (already 1-0) More… we got another good one, at 37, should be successful for a long time!!!

I'm not unhappy with Sharrone Moore at all Gig. I think he's a good coach. I wish Jim H had stayed at Mich. I don't care beans for the Chargers.
