This is a Goldwing 1500 engine modified by a homegrown mechanic in New Zealand.





It’s going into this.







He cut the bottom off the crankcase to eliminate the transmission! The amount of machining has been incredible. It will be fuel injected with him machining all the bits for that to work.



This is the guy in his home shop






The engine being test fit is a parts car to check for clearances





Just another look. The project has been ongoing for two years between working on customers cars. He did an amazing amount of body work on the car itself.

I hope this link works for you, I’m not very good with this kind of stuff. I was so captivated that I have read his entire posting, about 5 pages and the guy takes great pics, and I think it’s kool that his wife is handy in the shop too.

He’s made more progress with fine tuning the electronics. He has now tore apart the Subaru transmission to make changes because it will turning opposite its normal rotation. YouTube video is only 12 seconds but first time he had really got into the throttle.
