Replaced the corroded front brake master cylinder but didn't pay attention to the banjo bolt alignment.
Can someone check and tell me whick side of the "tang" should it be on, above or below?

It’s on the correct side, but it needs to be up next to the tab. Your brake fitting shouldn’t be touching your bars. (IMHO)

is the new Master Cylinder OEM or aftermarket ?

Aftermarket. It doesn't have a cutout around the brake light switch which means it doesn't sit over the kill switch housing like the OEM one did. It's about 1/4" more to the center of the bike than the OEM one was.
Thinking of just polishing the OEM one and refitting (new OEM ones are expensive)...

This is more than likely what I'm going to do when I to R&R the old girl once I get all the replacement parts in...
