There was a post recently about on-helmet / on-board videos. I decided to have a go at this and bought a cheap bicycle camera mount off eBay. The mount only cost $7.50 including p&p and it was designed for handlebars between 3/4 and 1 inch in diameter. I have mounted it on my Shadow for now as the Valk is still being re-built. I put my 5mp Nikon P&S camera on it and took some videos on yesterdays ride.

This is a photo of it mounted on the handlebars

This is a video taken with this setup I have deleted the sound as it was all wind noise given the placement of the microphone in the camera.

Good looking roads, and your camera worked out well too... maybe a little too well? Were you

Yep no problem with that, when you can see the road ahead use 2/3rds of the road, that's what we were taught in my old profession.  Wink  police  Smiley

Nice vids w/ that camera!
I was the one with the audio problems on my GoPro camera. After sending countless,(ok, eleven), clips showing my weird static-like sounds that weren't wind generated, the kind folks at GoPro allowed me to send them my faulty camera for a repair or replacement. We'll see.
Looks like you secretly flew here to Arizona to do your mountain riding. Wink Terrain looks very familiar.
Keep safe
