Looks like southern NH, eastern MA, and CT could receive significant amounts...
We are on the 1" to 3", 3" to 6" line...Either way, it will be a wet n heavy snow with temps 30* to 33* ..
Hoping for rain....

The current forecast for my area is 6 to 12 inches of snow, starting early morning on Tuesday and going through until early evening. I would expect the forecast to be refined a bit by Monday.

With last months storms, Hampton Beach in NH and Salisbury Beach in MA had really bad flooding and erosion. In Salisbury, home owners and the state have brought in over 30 tons of sand and moved it around to protect the beach and homes. Unfortunately, this current storm is forecast to be really bad for more flooding and erosion in those areas. Having a home with an ocean in your back yard is beautiful, until it isn't. There's no way I could live like that.

On the other hand, yesterday was beautiful. I got out for my first ride of the year. Coincidentally, my first ride least year was also on February 10th. After moving stuff around the garage to get access to the bike, I topped of the tires with air and was ready to go. I was on the road by about 10:30, with temps in the low 50s.

I had planned to go lunch at Davis BBQ in Sterling. I arrived and saw that they were closed for renovation. So I want to the bagel cafe in Sterling for a very good breakfast bagel sandwich. Then I headed west on route 62 to Hubbardston. There was more snow on the ground out there so it was colder, high 40s, and there was snow melt on the roads. From Hubbardston, I took 68 north to Gardener. Then 2A east 140 south to eventually home.

I did see bikes out, more so the farther east I got because it was warmer and less snow melt. Total was 100 miles. The bike needed a thorough wash after. It felt good to get out for a ride.  cooldude

Out for a ride yesterday...NICE  cooldude  The roads here are covered with gravel and extremely dusty.

Can't imaging having a house so close to the ocean, and have to worry about it being pulled off it's foundation. I'm fine right here tucked in the middle of the woods, only having to worry about 70ft trees falling through the roof !!

Same here. We were 12+, now maybe 1-3. I can deal with that. It looks better from my leather chair, not a cloth seat in a loader.

It's a TOTAL MISS, mid thirties with a breeze out of the W/NW gusting 30 mph..... Cool
Gives me time to swing an axe or maul, and stack bbq wood for a couple hours before a month off ....

It's snowing pretty good here right now. But with the track shifting to the south, we're expecting less snow. We'll probably get about 4 inches.

So Terry a "month off"? You guys going somewhere? Looking forward to seeing you in Portland. We'll be driving up with Bernie and Betsy.  Wink

Only place I'll be going is to the doctors Tony...
I had 2 biopsies done the end of December..One on my left chest, about 6" above my nipple, and  another on my left arm / shoulder. Both came back positive for skin cancer.

Tomorrow I will have the one on my chest removed (about the size of a nickle), then on the 21st I will have the one on my left arm /shoulder removed (about the size of a quarter)
Stitches will stay in for 7 to 10 days...So, 2 weeks of nothing strenuous with left arm, then another 2 weeks with limited strength while all skin becomes reattached and no worries of opening up.

Neither of these were visible back in June...They appeared quick and seem to have started to spread quick too...

Will you be dropping Bernie off at Salvage ??   Evil
