I got in somewhere near 100 miles today. 64 degrees and sunny all afternoon. I knew exactly where I was till I didn’t! I got on a road called Furnace Road that I assumed went to Furnace Ky, although I can’t confirm because I never saw it. But I will say that my pucker string was tight the whole time and I got to experience some of Appalachia’s finest backroads. It started to have a “deliverance “ vibe so I had to access the gps to help guide me back to civilization.

I did discover that I need to adjust my rear brake or get new pads as my trail braking wasn’t confidence inspiring. I will revisit that area again as it makes me think it would be a good place exercise my skill set.
