I am soliciting a favor from a current Tourer owner. The favor is to measure the distance on the outside of the windshield from the center of the outside mount bolt, across the horizontal trim piece, to the other bolt on the outside. I would also like a measurement from the bottom mount bolt on the vertical trim piece to the outside mount bolt of the horizontal piece.

I am asking for this because I own a Honda Shadow VT1100 Ace Tourer, and even though I am 98% sure that the Valkyrie Tourer and Ace Tourer share the same windshield and saddlebag measurements, I am not 100% sure.

This is important to me because ClearviewShields has quite a few 'blemished' shields on special for the Valkyrie Tourer but not the Ace Tourer. A blemished budget friendly Valkyrie Tourer shield on special would suit me just fine.

Anyway, Thank You in advance,
John

yes saddle bags are exactly the same.

ace tourer windshield is listed 31" tall and 22" wide
Valkyrie is listed 31.5" tall and 24" wide.

That's all I have.
I would buy the clearview u want and drill new holes if needed. unneeded holes can always be filled.

Ask clearview, they will know and I don’t think they would mind you trying to save money on a different shield. They are great to deal with and a sale is a sale. I can’t get to my bike at the moment, but will take measurements if still needed when I can. Text me and I can text pictures of measurements.

From outside bolt to outside bolt horizontally is 23 1/4”

From bottom to top bolt on the vertical strap is 9 3/4”

I have a standard with Hondaline shield which I am sure is identical to a Tourer

Thank You for taking the time to reply.

Checking the CVS website today (24 hrs. later) both of the Valkyrie shields I was looking at have been sold.

I will get it figured out what to do about a 'summertime' shield.

My bike currently has a CVS shield on it installed by the first owner of the bike. It is the biggest shield that CVS offers (it is huge). Great for riding below 50 degrees but horrible at temps above 70.

Anyway,
John

They can be cut down you know.  Slowly (to not burn the plastic), with a fine tooth blade, and finish off the edge. (probably Utubes on it)

I don't know clearances on Tourers, but tall shields can sometimes be laid back to allow more airflow.

my summer shield is a memphis shades hellcat. I have it position so the main wind blast is deflected yet I still get plenty of cooling wind flow.
