ARMSTRONG Armstrong Blu-Trac PC Flex 205/60R16, 96V, XL

2 of my 3 bikes are DS.  Looking to convert my VTX 1800R and this tire looks pretty good.  General reviews are good, wondering if anyone has experience with it, or another Armstrong tire?

No, I don't.

But it's a good looking symmetrical tread tire, called a hybrid between summer and winter treads.  And the tread right to the edge is like my Michelin CrossClimate2, All-Season car tire which I like very much on both my Interstates.

Thanks Jess.  I have the Michelins on my Pacifica and like them, so was considering using that tire on my bike.....kinda based on your comments. 

Saw this on and like the more rounded edges.....and the price, just about half the Crossclimate cost.  $70 vs $135.  Think I'll do this and see how it goes.

Sounds like a plan Paul.

You know, on the Michelin, I looked long and hard at the squared off look of the tire and it worried me some.  But the proof is in the riding, it rides wonderfully (despite the squared off look).

I have had trouble with V rated tire.  The sidewall was too stiff causing the tire to ride up on the edge in turns even at 28 lbs.  I love the 205 60R 16 H rated tires that I have run, but I won't be trying another V rated.  I have never tried an Armstrong though.  You might want to start out cautiously with it.
