So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

Covington, TN

Just curious if anyone is planning on attending this event?  May 3rd and 4th.

I have no doubt the horizonal six bikes will be out numbered by the V Twins but, that just gives us more opportunity to show them the "Nickel Trick".  Wink

Steel Horse Rally is pretty cool.  It's a fairly new rally.  I think this will be it's 5th year.  Gets bigger every year.  Fort Smith is kinda unique, downtown where they have it.  Garrisson avenue is 4 lanes with vertical parking on both sides.  They close down the whole street , let bikes park in the middle .  Lot's of restaurant/bars on the strip, live entertainment.  Typical rally stuff.  There is also alot of good riding in this area.  Ozark mountains to the north/east, Quachita mountains to the South.  It's only 2 days Friday and Saturday.  Worth it if you like Rallys. If you come,
look me up.  I've got 2 Valks.  01 standard black with silver stripe, 01 Interstate pearl chapparel beige and black.  I can't just say I have a beige bike.  Good time for all that attend.  Hope to see you there.

Peace, Ron.

Appreciate the response.

Although I currently have way too many irons in the fire, this is something I would consider if'n a few of my Valk friends were to indicate they were attending.   I'm always open to meeting and greeting other bikers (especially Valkers).   Won't promise anything but, I've ridden in that area before and enjoyed many of the roads.   One thing for sure, if I go, I'll be easy to spot.   It seems the HD cult claims the colors my bikes (3) are.  Orange and Black are claimed by the cult.   2funny

If I do make it, I'll be looking for other Valks and their riders.   cooldude

They claim over 200,000 people attended last year.  I dunno, that seems like alot.  It is pretty crowded though.

OK, well I'm not into big crowds so that isn't an incentive for me.

Agreed but, with that many folks attending I can just see the line of V Twin riders wanting to see the Nickel Trick.   Nope, not going to try showing it that many times.   Wink
