I have noticed lately that when using the front brake at speeds under 45mph like coming to a stop sign I will get a pulsing with the front brake, like once every revolution. Like it’s grabbing harder in one spot. I am the original owner bike has 81000 have replaced the front pads once and flushed the brake fluid 5 times I also went to stainless braided brake lines at least 10yr ago, this started the end of last year. Anyone have any ideas rotors pads calipers ,I can still ride the bike but it’s getting annoying with the pulsing. Thanks for any ideas

""Worth examining if the bobbins on the front discs can be freely rotated - they tend to clog up with brake dust, road crud etc after a bit of use. If clean - you can usually put your thumb on one face, your forefinger on the opposite face, grip tightly and either rotate clockwise or anti-clockwise. If dirty/stuck fast - put a machine screw (think its about M6) through the bobbin with a nut and washer on each face, tighten up just enough to get a grip on each face (without mangling/distorting the bobbin) and then use a socket to free them off by turning clockwise/anti-clockwise - a small amount of brake cleaning fluid might also help to free off/flush out the built up grot under the inside faces. On the other hand, in a worst case scenario - you could be feeling the start of a warped disc - a not unknown issue, already reported elsewhere on the forum.""

I've had pretty good luck (during occasional washes), spraying the brakes/calipers with Spray 9 (mildly corrosive), and scrubbing the daylights out of everything with an assortment of stiff bottle brushes (and plenty of rinsing).  I get a noticeable improvement in front braking (and smoothness) every time.

Both my Interstate's front rotors are pretty cupped.  But they still work like a charm.
