I know there are some folks out there who travel with pets and take time to get out and walk but there’s been a report of dog treats tainted with fish hooks. There are some sick people out there.

Right now it seems to be confined to one area in PA but one person in the comments section claimed it happened in another area as well but didn’t say where exactly.

“ The Pennsylvania Game Commission has issued a warning to dog and pet owners regarding the Appalachian Trail after a chilling discovery was made.”

“Last weekend, according to CBS News, a hiker found dog treats stuffed with fish hooks on the North Trail Loop, which leads to the George W. Outerbridge camping shelter in Washington Township.”

I once followed a dog walker home with a big handful of his dog's poo (from my yard) and rubbed it all over his front door.  But I wouldn't hurt the dog (unless he started it).
