Orderd said triple tree from a Large on line retailer. Shipped direct to da prez. Retailer stated in the E mail order confirmation 30 May 24 thru 4 June 24. It got to my bros casa 0730 hrs this A M.  cooldude Gonna try to have it installed Before headin West to Iowa. And in both the manuals what we call a triple tree in the Honda specific manuals it's listed s a steering stem.  crazy2 I entered triple tree in my search bar and 2 Major retailers seemed to have best price with both retailers having good reviews. Anywho doin twistys on Phatter Ghurl IS an upper body workout!  Lips Sealed With me on the trike and a loaded trailer would NOT surprise if I'm up near 3/4 ton! Got a Cat Scale close just might weigh it out fer yuks and giggles!  2funny RIDE SAFE.

Dennis, my trike comes in right at 1200lbs. with no load, but goes a bit more with my butt in the saddle and blondie in back. I will say, it rides much better with a load in back. When I told her that she had to question me on just where I was going with that statement so told her it gave me a much better backrest. Got a little smile then.  cooldude

PS: Got your note and Grumpy's old business card. Brought back some fond memories, sure do miss Bill, was a great friend to all. I used to visit him frequently since he lived on the far east edge of the Tampa area and had easy access off I-4. Made for a nice ride to/from his place.

John My Friend Exactly as I stated in that note You NEED to be the custodian of that card.  cooldude Ross had weighed it and he came up with about a 1000 lbs +- in that area. Even without the 6 degree tree She don't feel heavy. But should have it installed well before Iowa as Ross has a Honda mech on tap. RIDE SAFE.

The 6 degree tree will greatly lower your steering input. Still in my humble opinion, whatever the speed limit for the curve is, that is the speed limit. At least it is on my trike.

Ride safe.

My Valkyrie Trike has a 6.25 degree Tripletree.  Absolutely love it.   The only down side of going with anything greater than OE is your turning radius is increased.   Not a big deal in my opinion.
