Hello, I have a 1998 Valkyrie tour the question is sometimes I push the starter button and it does nothing. I push it two or three times the bike will start other times I push the button and it starts right away. Any suggestions?

Where are you located?  The starter button maintenance is not hard but a little intimidating the first time. I’ve done several, the most important thing is to make sure the little brass contact is free to move up and down on the little spring or it will malfunction again soon.

Second important thing. Do not lose the spring.

Add your location into your profile, and the bike.

Good start. Lights go out when you push the button, but the starter doesn't kick in.

2nd possible, would be the starter relay/fuse/connector. Look that one up too. Not likely from what you've described.
