Been riding to and from work this week, about 30 miles each way. It’s been riding fine and sounding great, but today I was in single lane bumper to bumper crawl and I noticed a little puddle of forbidden Mountain Dew (coolant) leaking through the exhaust on the right bank. Haven’t seen any white smoke but I know coolant in the exhaust is an indicator of head gasket failure. It is a slow drip but I do plan to fix this asap and won’t be riding until it is

Head gasket failure is very rare and I honestly cannot remember anyone stating that issue on this board.

Not saying it hasn't happened, just I don't recall.

Anyways, I would suspect an external leak somewhere.

Yeah I was searching through the forum and couldn’t find much of anything about head gaskets. If I remember right the overflow tube from the radiator is hanging loose on the right side of the bike. I never reinstalled the reservoir because I couldn’t remember where it went lol. Might put that back on now

Bingo!  (Are we sure it is coming through the exhaust or maybe just following the exhaust?)

I think it just dumped some from the overflow. Hasn’t happened again since that initial leak. Thanks
