My new rear tire was delivered on Wednesday so I was able to pull the rear wheel on Tuesday and have the tired mounted on Wednesday. I got the wheel back on the bike late Wednesday afternoon. I was happy I'd be able to ride with my brother up to Bike Week.
It was a perfect WX day. We arrived at Weir's Beach about 9:30. At that time there's plenty of parking.
https://photos.app.goo.gl/VVGsWHXu89vqbExA6We walked around, looked at the bikes and some crazy home-made trikes. I saw a couple of beautiful red and white Valks and even a few 2018+ GWs. He shopped for T-shirts. I've got plenty.
https://photos.app.goo.gl/FNVcQZBVXKkXUSxd7https://photos.app.goo.gl/rA78cKHvpuWAJZu27We had lunch around noon. Then we were on our way after having the Progressive Insurance Hotties snap a picture of us.
https://photos.app.goo.gl/h1zq34PRPXmxz1h19We headed south to the Speedway in Loudon to check out the action and maybe do a demo ride. My brother passed, I demoed a BMW R18 Bagger.

Lots of vibration and noise from the two-big 900 cc cans on each side. The bike didn't feel well balanced. Its got a heel/toe shifter and there's no room to up-shift using your toe. You have to mash down the shifter with your heal to up-shift. It felt awkward. Access to the rear brake is a bit restricted by the big can. I didn't like that either. I was glad to be back on the GW for the long ride home.
