We broke a couple of records at Inzane this year!!! I am so impressed with the generosity of our group!! Y’all never cease to amaze me!
I had a great team helping me this year with the making of the pies for the pie auction! We made 12 pies and the total brought in for the charity from the auctioning of the pies was $7,300! This is the highest ever!!
At the banquet last night, we were able to present the charity with the donation from the group. The donation not only included the pie auction funds, but all the funds collected for the charity lunch ride, pass the hat, all auction items and other collected funds throughout the week totalling $13,009!!!!
Way to go VRCC!!!!

Well, gotta say I am impressed with you and the leadership team that put this together.
It was an extraordinary time. Years from now it'll be "Remember that Inzane "Field of Dreams" ride?" It'll be like legendary.
Lots of fun was had, lots of excursions taken. Needed a lot more hours in the day.
Record donations too.
Even the miracle of a life saved.
All this cause of you guys.
This area has always been a favorite place of mine and you guys did a great job showcasing it.
Thank you for all you've done and for all your crew did for this one.
Bravo!
Place is gorgeous in October and am talking the wife into going back there again for the October apple harvest.

The charity we supported is Brain Health Now. They assist people who have brain health issues and shared with us their drive to end the stigma of calling the issues mental illness. They shared with is the percentages of people who need assistance dealing with brain health issues and what can be done to help them. Their website is brainhealth-now.org. I had someone tell me their website emphasized something else but it turns out that if one doesn't include the dash it goes to a very different organization. They were very pleased with the generosity of our group and said they would hang a plaque in a room being added that would say it was the VRCC that provided it. |

Very interesting website, and a great selection for your charity. I was impressed by their stance. The brain images they show on their website are eye opening. I am doing my best to help a family member who is clinically depressed and suicidal. I love him dearly and wish I could find a magic wand to help him. Unfortunately he has other complex issues including alcoholism that compound his problems. When he's depressed, he drinks. When he drinks, he's depressed. There's no refuge in such a vicious cycle. |

Most excellent. A big shout out to the VRCC staff and all the fine folks who gave so much. I am always impressed with the heart of this organization. I wish I could have been at Inzane this year, but am looking forward to next year.

Really impressed with the whole dang week in Dubuque! The V R C C Staff and those who helped and the motel staff! The Field of Dreams was I M O Fantastic!  Generally speaking here lately NOT at all liking hollywood or what it stands for BUT this movie set was in Rural Iowa and well worth the effort to get there! Happy I was a Small part of the Very Important fund raising effort. And Laurie I did in FACT far exceed my usual pie capacity but dang it were GOOD!  RIDE SAFE. |
