Hey guys, a while ago I did a LED conversion on my HD Road King. (please don't boo me, I love my Valk). I liked the LEDs so much better for both riding at night and also being visible in the day. So I was pointed to the Eagle lights kit for the Valk standard/tourer models. Kit includes a LED head light, and instructions to use the reflector ring on the standard and move it over to use on the LED. Worked fine even though the instructions were rather vague in a couple spots.

That went right in and worked fine. It also comes with 2 driving lights to use by removing the standard sealed beam lights you may have and these would replace those. Well I have the standard Cobra light bar, and easy enough to take the outer ring off, disconnect the standard sealed beam and replace with the new LEd light. EXCEPT, there isn't much room in the lights I have. The depthed is barely enough to hold the standard sealed beam, and this lights takes up all of that and then has a fairly large feeder for the hot/ground lead. It's just a set of LEDs that are quite generic. I eliminated the plug system that came with it. Stripped the wires and soldered them and hopefully isolated them from each other with tape. They barely fit, but I'm worried about heat. What I'd like to get is a deeper set of light casings that might fit the Cobra bar. Has anyone done and mods in this area with different lights?

I thought LEDs didn't get hot but putting my hand on them they do get warm.

Here's a couple pics.

i have the same setup and haven't had any issues with heat. Bought them from Josh on the forum.

I tried contacting him before I found this "Eagle Lights" company. Did you find it a real tight fit for the new driving lights?

I like the lights though!

Thanks for the info.

Yes, the side lights are tight but doable. No problems.
