I've just toured parts of Spain over the last fortnight covering nearly 2500 miles.
Most of my riding was the twisties in the mountains and once back on the winding lower roads I was just cruising at 45-ish mph with my feet up on the Highway pegs. There was very little traffic on the routes I'd planned.
On the mountainous switchbacks you're obviously on and off the throttle all the time.
I was averaging around 180 miles a day.
The bike was flawless.
I filled up to the exact spot on the tank each time for accuracy and I averaged 50 miles per Imperial gallon, which equates to 41.63 miles per US gallon.
I was very pleased.

That is about the best you can ever get from a Valkyrie. Congrats

I usually get 37 to 38 mpg riding here in north Texas, cruising at about 60mph. High altitude helps considerably, I have gotten as much as 44 mpg riding Colorado.
