I don't very often right road reports but I'll try because Tony does all the time. For the first big ride on the road glide I left work at 3:00 left my house at 3:40 drove 243 mi in 4 and 1/2 hours I am now in rangely Maine. First the ride up was very relaxing. There was no traffic to deal with the weather was warm but not hot even all the way to Rangeley. As I sit here now it's still 72°. To say I am impressed with this bike is an understatement. It's not a Valkyrie but I can't believe the smoothness difference between this road glide in my last one or even the Victory. At 80 mph it turns a smooth 3000 RPM. Red line is at six grand. There is no wind problem when passing vehicles it was very comfortable I'm very relaxed after a four and a half hour ride. Like I said it's not a Gold Wing. But I am now thoroughly impressed with this bike.
Kathy and I have been coming here for the last 17 or so years. It's going to be difficult without her. She made me promise that I would come up here at least once for 4th of July. Hope everybody has a safe and happy 4th of July I'll see you guys when I get back

Great report Paul! Keep them coming. This Board needs content.

I'm glad you're enjoying your promise ride to Kathy. It sounds wonderful! Let's talk when you get back. I'd love to take a ride with you.

Safe travels my Friend!

Enjoy your time Paul, remembering all the good times you and Kathy shared while there.

Did you by chance buy the elusive one in a million Goldwings dressed in wolf's clothing ??

You'll have to remember I still work, so maybe we can meet for breakfast or lunch ride some weekend day. I look forward to it

Maybe you can lower your standards and speed and ride a day with Tony and I.

I am missing my passenger, but did a lot of remembering and smiling today. I am very happy with the way this thing handles and moves right along. It's quiet, smooth, and very comfortable. I'll never race a GW. Tony's just way too fast.

I'm a speed limit plus 5 guy. I don't ride fast. Just ask Gary.  Wink

Speed limit plus 5? Tony, your supposed to add the five to the last number, not the first number of the speed limit
