anyone ever have one or good/bads of owning one?  My kid found one he is interested in nearby him price is reasonable,  only 24K miles for 2012 fully loaded side bags and top trunk in that 5-6K range.  Has a very nice russell day long seat on it he test drove was very comfy and was lowered an inch or two since I know OEM seat concourse14 are too tall to go flat footed for anyone in that 5ft 10 inch range.

does need a new rear tire in next few 1000 miles so he might offer 5500 and also has some minor scuffs on top of right side of hard bag but overall ran nice.

He owned a gently used low mileage fjr1300 he sold 4 years ago no idea why he got rid of it, but was a tad bit top heavy and OEM stock seat/handlerbars needed some changing to be comfier.

Everything I've read about them says they are great bikes.  It was too wide for me, but what truly took it out of contention was the lack of cruise control.

I owned a 2010 for a few years. It is a bit top heavy but at 5' 10" i could just barely touch both feet. I was on an entrance ramp and hit 100 when I shifted to 3rd. Decided at 69 yrs I didn't need this thing. Still have my '97 Tourer.

Test drove a 03' 1000cc before I bought the VT1100C. I have a 32" inseam and backing it up wasn't very easy as 7.5 gallon tank didn't help making one feel secure. The ST Honda's are worse. Way to much Tupperware but the performance was excellent. One of the best values  but...
