Third New Car (non valkyrie related) 1985

Wife was cleaning out some of out documents the other day and found this picture.

New cars in my life.

1970 Ford Maverick
1972 Ford Explorer
1976 Honda Accord

But this one was "mine".   




1985 Pontiac Fiero.  And yes, that's me in 1985. 

And this is a picture of a picture which is why it's a little blurred.

Nice... That was my first "I bought it with my own money" car's arch nemesis, a 1988 Toyota MR2... (That I bought in... 1991 I think?)



I've only had one brand new car ever (And likely won't ever again), a 2008 Nissan Altima. It was a unicorn, the 3.5L V6 with just shy of 300 horsepower and a 6 speed manual. I had Nissan mechanics claim my car didn't exist it was so rare.



Sadly Kali totaled it last year. 

And while digging in the archives, have had one brand new motorcycle as well... That I've still got. Purchased my Valk out of the crate on December 23trd 2000..

Sadly the only new bike pictures I have are that are really truly new are of my 2007 ST1300A.  Picture taken on February 18, 2007.  Taken just after I returned my purchase.

I've had around 13 cars/trucks.  Only 2 were new (the last 2).   

I've had 8 bikes, and only 1 was new.  (Not a Valk)

Most of my early cars were old.  The later used cars and bikes were usually only 1-3 years old.   

I think I'm done.
