OK, the short story is I have several oil filters I've had on my shelf for a while but I have no idea what vehicle/engine they fit. Anyone know of a website that when fed the filter number will list what that filter goes onto.
I've tried Rock Auto but to no avail. Maybe I'm simply too literate to know how to use the site but, here are the filter part numbers if anyone knows how to guide me. I hate throwing brand new things away but, if they won't work for my current vehicles, then they'll either go into the trash or, I'll give them to whoever wants them.

Go to Walmart. They have a book. Leaf through until you see your filter used. Also look up all the vehicles it could be

Thanks to all, I found some of the vehicles filters by looking up the part numbers for the vehicles currently in our stable. Those I will keep. The others are destined for the trash. Just not worth keeping if I no longer own/operate the vehicle the filters fit. Again, thanks for the suggestions.

Last time I cleaned up my garage, I found several for vehicles I no longer owned. I took them to a friend who owns an auto parts store. I gave them to him to give to folks who need a free filter for their car. Same with unused rebuilt starters and parts.

Having been in this situation more than once, I've started writing on all my spare parts and consumables which vehicle or appliance they are for. Saves a lot of future research. I've also gotten to the point that with any new appliance, I download the owners manual while it's easily available and throw the paper manual away. I never could find them when I needed them anyway and its much easier to search the "Owners Manual" folder on the PC.

Excellent idea, I should have thought of that. Thanks. Rams

All very good ideas. Thanks. Although, my spousal unit keeps those manuals even after we've replaced the appliance. But, at least, she knows where it is. Rams
