I know nothing about Rox risers.
It's hard to give advice on what will help your shoulder(s).
I believe the majority of Valk riders use 3.5-4" pullback risers (both taller and more pullback).
I'm 5'9" with a 33" shirt sleeve and I use 4" and 5.5" risers on my 2 valks.
I have no clear idea how the pivot feature might work for you (or anyone), but think I'd go for more than 2" risers. Seems to me me if they are a little long, you might be able to use the pivot to reduce the reach a little, but if they are too short, the pivot can't make them much longer.
This may sound stupid, but go out and sit on the bike centered up, seated comfortably, close your eyes, and reach out your arms to where they seem most comfortable, then open your eyes, and figure out how many inches of rise and pullback you need. It's no exact science, but it's a good starting point for trying to choose the right risers.
I do not care for the 3 1/8" stock risers at all. It's a bit too much of a reach (and leaned forward seating position) for good comfort for me.

The 2” rise on the ROX risers is added on to OEM risers. Also, the stock bar clamp won’t work holding down the ROX units. You’ll have to get bar clamps from a VT1100 or a VTX 1300.

Haven't tried them on my Valk. Have the 2" version on my VTX1800, and used them on my Kawi Nomad. I really like them. I have the VTX adjusted so the bars are just high enough to not hit anything on lock to lock. Then the bars adjusted for most comfortable hand location.
On my VTX, I was getting burning pain across upper back - shoulder blade to shoulder blade after riding for "long" time. It's gone now with the ROX adjustment. Will probably get some for my Valk, if it won't cause me to have to change lines/cables.

Sandy, do you need both upper & lower parts of the VTX clamps or just the top? Why doesn't the Valk top clamp work?

It looks like the Rox top clamps are offset inward, and the clamp bolt holes would not match up with the Valk top clamp holes. 2-inchers Aside from the Rox pivot feature, they seems overly busy and complex, instead of just getting a taller set of risers (and using the Valk top clamp). Or just use the supplied Rox clamps.

Haven't seen the clamps like the second photo. Mine are like the first photo, and the bar clamps on the Rox align directly over the clamps of the original risers. On both my Nomad and the VTX I use the original clamps with the Rox risers. Can't see any reason you couldn't on the Valk, depending on the version of Rox you have. Again, never seen the version in the second photo. Second photo looks like you could loosen the bolt and spin the bar clamps outward if you wanted.
