A little brown Geko lizard.

How in the hell did you get in here????

He didn't say.

I get a handful of these Gekos every summer in my backyard landscape.  I make war on all bugs (and squirrels), but these guys eat the bugs, and are no trouble, and never overpopulate, so I leave them alone.  Sometimes they sit and look at me, but mostly they run for cover.

He's desperately trying to wiggle out of the sink, but it's wet.  I make an extra effort to take him alive, but carefully, as they are said to be able to deliver a bite with bacteria.  He lost his tail in the removal, which continued wiggling for a minute.  After he's out of the house, I quickly investigated to discover if I had more inside, but none found.  I can only assume he came in the door at the foot of the basement walkout when I went through the door, without me seeing him.  He ran around the corner, climbed the wall, cabinet and in the sink.

That was interesting.  I'll have to be more careful.

Not my finger.  Cute little monster.

Wall climbers.

He was just trying to help you save hundreds on your car and motorcycle insurance!

We have 'em all over the place, as long as one of the dogs doesn't get a hold of 'em, and I also like having 'em around, they eat the bugs, which I don't like having around...

...we really need to get you a digital camera for casual pics though...  cooldude

I have (and want) no cell phone.

My little Sony digital had the shutter door lock closed.  I found a 72 step repair write up for my exact camera on line, but lack the tools or the patience.  Repair would cost more than the camera.  Never got another.

So I find pics on line and pirate them.   Smiley

I already have Geico on my bikes.

I'm familiar with your Luddite like disdain for modern communications devices (Said with smirk, not spite) but you could get an inexpensive, $30-$50 digital camera and post your own pics pretty easily...

Just a thought, no worries if you don't wanna...

I wouldn't mind that, but then I'd have to go through some web hosting crap to post them on here.  So no.

BTW, my buddy bought me a $50 no-frills cell phone and gave me an hour of instruction.  I never used it once, let the service expire at the end of the month, and put it in a drawer.   Grin

He didn't want it, but I gave him the $50 anyway.

He said it would still work for 911 or some emergency.  (I don't have those)   Smiley

glad he was in the sink where you could corral him into a container of some sort vs. running all over the basement, never could catch then.

few years ago had a 2 ft snake in my basement, that was fun,  I hate snakes give me the willies.  luckily he crawled up thru the floor joist where house met foundation, ran upstairs to backyard,  and saw him coming out under the vinly siding.  grabbed his tail, whipped him 50 ft into backyard, got a garden rake and 50 gallon trash can, and scooped him up in it and moved him 1 mile away from house.
