A little brown Geko lizard.
How in the hell did you get in here????
He didn't say.
I get a handful of these Gekos every summer in my backyard landscape. I make war on all bugs (and squirrels), but these guys eat the bugs, and are no trouble, and never overpopulate, so I leave them alone. Sometimes they sit and look at me, but mostly they run for cover.
He's desperately trying to wiggle out of the sink, but it's wet. I make an extra effort to take him alive, but carefully, as they are said to be able to deliver a bite with bacteria. He lost his tail in the removal, which continued wiggling for a minute. After he's out of the house, I quickly investigated to discover if I had more inside, but none found. I can only assume he came in the door at the foot of the basement walkout when I went through the door, without me seeing him. He ran around the corner, climbed the wall, cabinet and in the sink.
That was interesting. I'll have to be more careful.
Not my finger. Cute little monster.

Wall climbers.
