Hi guys, just wanted to introduce myself.  Just got a smoking deal on a 98 Tourer in jade with only 19k on it recently. Been fixing it up the last couple months and this site kept coming up when I searched for info, so I joined up. Thanks to all who have posted useful info on here. I hope to contribute eventually also.  This is around the 45th street bike I've owned over 35 years of riding, and already one of my all time favorites.  Tried to upload a pic of the bike to my prof I le but didn't work. Yet. I've done the basics of tineuo work, plus new fork seals, front disc's, brake pads, different bars, led dash lights, and various other cleaning and tweeking of things.  She's all stock except for a few chrome add ons, and aside from a centerstand and maybe a better seat I'm gonna keep her that way.  If anyone in the tucson area wants to ride or wrench or just talk bikes let me know. Glad to be here, thanks again for all the info, past and future

Welcome from the Republic of Texas!!  There are a ton of good people on this site.  Check out the GL1500 Tech Board for lots of good info and current issues.

Howdy Weezyrider!  Like Jimmy said (Hey Jimmy!), the GL1500 Tech Board is a wealth if information.  If you can get ahold of a Honda Shop Manual, you'll be glad you did.  It's worth every penny.

You can use the Photostash page on this site to upload pictures, but it is very limited on space.  You may even have to down-res your pics before uploading and then you'll be limited on the number of pictures you can actually keep there.  I recommend using a third party photo site like Postimages → https://postimages.org

There are plenty other third party photo sites.  I've been using Postimages for a couple of years now.  It's free and has worked well for me.

If you're ever in the Central Texas Hill Country, give us a shout!
