The issue for you is the weight of the bike. The tire you want isn’t rated for that. The best tire is the Avon Chrome. It’ll grip very good and last for many miles too.

I have never run an Avon, but for my bikes, Metzeler is the best gripping tire there is.  And I run them only a pound or two under the MAX PSI printed on the sidewalls.  I only get about 8-9K from them (up front), some do better.

ME880s, and now the ME 888s.

Been on rear car tires for 15 or more years now, so the ME888s now only fronts.

My rear Michelin Cross Climate 2's are real grippy too. (205 60)

Judging by your criteria, Shinko's would be the better option IMO. They wear quicker but should be closer to 5 yr. "life" when needing replacement. Be sure you to get "R"/radials. A good sticky tire I hear thus Valks weight/shaft drive are major wear factor. Keep them inflated 38/41 psi as a starting point. Balance beads in the front tire, might expect 15,000 mi. but mileage to age ratio, you'll have keep track of it.

Remember to replace the 3 O'rings in rear wheel!

Over the years I've ridden over 400,000 miles on my 2 Valks and 2 F6Bs. Most of those miles were on Avons, dating back to the old Avon Venom. They handled well and outlasted other brands, but I did hear complaints about quality control and occasionally noticed a wobble on the front.

Then last summer the front on my F6B made a loud bang and developed this huge bulge. Some others on the F6B board experienced the same thing. I've switched to Bridgestones, which cost considerably less than any other brand except Shinko and were the OEM tire on my F6Bs.

I was running Avon Cobra, not bad, there is no available front tire 150/80 R17 anywhere, i searched for hours, the answer everywhere is Out of Stock. In top of that the news is that Avon is running out of business, so no chance to get my front tire. I understood that Bridgestone Exedra is doing a good job for the rear tire, the matching front tire is a weird D701 , not Exedra , which I would like to ask if anybody has this experience. Or the best choice is Metzeler Cruisetec which seems to answer all the questions?

Rocky Mountain ATV/MC has plenty of Valk tires in stock. Prices run from $153 for a Shinko front to $319 for a Dunlop rear.

Naa. That's only partly true afaik.
The main Factory in GB has been closed and Avon/Cooper Tyres brand has been sold to  Good Year.

Following company statements there won't be any production stop of Avon Motorcycle Tyres. (The car branch will be/is gone, though)

I'll need new Tyres next year for my Valkyrie, and will stay with Cobra Chrome, but as White Wall ones. (The Front tyre has to be made by order)

Bridgestone I had first, but after some wear  they developed a nasty wobble over 90 mph.
Cobras are still rock solid at max speed.
