I would like to know the right part number for the Side Switch for my Valkyrie 1500/1997, looks like the #35070-MZ0-B00 is not available anymore, is anything else that can be fitted on?
Thanks

Most switches fail due to dirt. Remove the switch and spay contact cleaner in the tiny hole in the housing. Blow it out and test with an ohm meter.

I guess you could bypass it.   Just better make sure you are in neutral or it could just take off if in gear...

Can a kickstand off of a VTX of the same year (or other Honda) be used?

I am wondering if the difference between Honda side stand switches are only the wire connector.

Very easy to defeat, did it to all my bikes… swap terminals
No need to remove the switch for contact cleaner, just spray the thing

There are probably dozens of automotive switches that could serve this function 12V low power

Yes, going by spotty memory… black, green, yellow swap yellow / green at terminal to defeat

Gnd / sw open - sw closed  Roll Eyes
   Stand up / stand down

Three wires for Standard and Tour because they have a light indicator and two wires for the Interstate because it does not.
