I just heard this on our music feed last night and I found it very telling, and true.

My experience ( in the late 60’s to mid 80’s) on the road traveling here and there was that Truckers were the “Knights of the Highway“.

My first car incident, occurred somewhere in South Carolin in the mid 60’s.  A trucker stopped and helped me out.  Ever since them I have looked up to them as special people who not only serve us but also serve the nation they live in.

So, this song says it all.  And yes, it was from the time I mentioned above. 

And while it is not exactly Valkyrie related it does related to what most of what the riders here believe and support and that is “we are always ready to help when needed”.

       The MAN that taught me to move furniture and Drive Truck summed it up nicely a long time back. If you have it a Trucker brought it. Food clothing yer housing and household goods and the gasoline in yer car and M/C to name just a Few!  RIDE SAFE.
