Made plans to ride with TonyC today, but he blew me off to walk his daughter down the aisle. Nice guy
Tell your daughter I wish her the best. I sure she and Cherri looked beautiful today. You, not so much.

Hey Paul, I'm ready to ride this coming weekend but I know you have plans.   Wink

My Daughter got married on Sunday October 6th. Her Husband is an avid snow boarder and they wanted to have the wedding in the mountains. They chose Stratton Mountain in VT as the destination. We had unseasonable sunny and warm WX for the event, which was good because they said their vows on large platform on the top of the mountain. Guests took a gondola to the top. The foliage was just a little past peak. It was beautiful.

It was quite an emotional weekend. I shed some tears. Here's a picture of us from the Father/Daughter Dance.

Thanks to all for your well wishes.   smitten

Thanks Terry!  Grin

We learned earlier today that the Bride and Groom tested positive for COVID. This wedding could turn into a large COVID cluster. I don't feel well today, but I thought it might be a cold as my son had a cold while he was here.

I still have my taste and smell, but so does the Bride. Sherry and I got COVID boosters in early September. So if I do have it, I'm hoping for a mild case. And I'm hoping that Sherry doesn't get it. I'll test tomorrow as I don't feel like screwing around with a COVID test right now.

Gary I was looking forward to taking a ride with you on Friday or Saturday if you were available. But now, not sure that I will be available.  Undecided

Hope it's just a cold Tony! That sux if the wedding was a Covid super spreader but hey your daughter will have something to tell the kids.
Can't ride Saturday. May get out for a lunch ride with Rich Friday.

Well I joined the COVID club this week. Guess I wasn't going to be able to avoid it forever. Thankfully Sherry doesn't have it. We're taking precautions including me sleeping in the spare bedroom.

It's like a really bad cold. I've got the worst sore throat ever.

For those getting out for a ride today, enjoy it! Wish I could join you.

Hopefully you will get past the covid crap without any long term effects...
It may take more than separate bedrooms to keep it from spreading...
