Got up and had coffee, and did my 2.5 mile walk (briskly).  Came home and Stihl backpack 600 blew my million leaves around.  Then some breakfast, then wiped the bike down and went for a great ride mostly through backwoods VA rolling hills and farms and big estates with horses, cattle, sheep and dogs.

Went from 69 to 80 degrees on the ride, and the fall colors are wonderful (despite almost no rain since mid summer).  The bike is in perfect tune and hauls ass when I want to (from time to time).

I made it home before the quitting time traffic, rolled her into the shed.

I am sitting on my deck in only a pair of shorts and sandals drinking my 3d beer, and getting a buzz (because I almost never drink alcohol anymore).  It's like a nice summer day in (almost) November.

I may have beer for dinner.   Smiley

Thanks guys.

Four beers was my limit (should have been 3, but they tasted so good).

I keep them in the basement fridge, so if I fall down the stairs I know I've had enough.   Grin

So I didn't have beer for dinner, I had a big cheeseburger which is almost as rare as me drinking beer.

And then, I slept like the dead.  A perfect ending to a good day.

Good on you Jess. Sometimes it all falls in place.

I walk every morning.  My heavily Dem area/neighborhood has been jammed full of blue Harris signs which I have been sick of looking at.

This morning on my walk, nearly all of those signs are gone.

It's the start of another good day.

Now with unseasonably warm weather (which won't last), the decision is:  Do I attack the fall leaves again, or do I roll out the bike and ride again?

I'm thinking ride now, work later (maybe, there's always tomorrow).   Smiley
