Yes, Mark - Wood Butcher
angel Lets keep Wood - Mark in our prayers. He is going in for a Heart Ablation on Wednesday 6th. Then Wood and Erin will meet and discuss with the Cardiac Surgeon to discuss Woods next surgical plans which involve open heart surgery and valve repair or replace. He has some Major heart issues if you didn't know already. A major artery that is bulging in an area they have found that needs to be addressed. Prayers continue for him and Erin along with his family. If you need his info and want to send him a text message whether you know him or not I will give you his cell phone number if you PM me. Please No calls but text only right now. If you don't know Wood he is a great guy and one of the best Valkyrie mechanics out there. Just wanted to let you know again what is going on with one of our Beloved Valkyrie family members.  angel

Prayes for Wood Butcher, and his family. May the Dr.'s and nurses give him excellent gudiance and care.

He (and another guy) helped me a few years ago when my throttle cable broke at a DRU ride. Thank you!  cooldude

I was in-touch with Wood today and the TEE went well and he was back home by this afternoon. While at the hospital the Doc checked him over again to say he was going to send Wood to Shands in Gainesville for a second opinion. Wood's aorta has a bulging area close to the valve on his heart. It is about 5 cm in size according to what he told Wood. The Doc doesn't want to operate until it gets to 5.5cm in size.  Shocked I was surprised by that comment. He said that this is causing blood to re-enter back into his heart as the valve is not sealing like it normally should. The doc believes that they may can save his valve with out a replacement being used. Prayers are still needed of course. They do work.  angel

On MeWe he's posting about wrenching on a GoldWing right now, so he's evidently feeling up to getting back to work...

Yes, he is doing light work. If you know Wood he is not going to just sit around. His son is there in the garage with him most of the time so he is not alone.  coolsmiley

cooldude I was texting this evening with Mark = Wood. He is feeling really good even more so after he shot his second buck after cleaning the first earlier. Not to mention he cut up three trees and moved them to the splinter. Then pressure washed the house and porch. Yep, he hasn't slowed much but recognizes he needs to not over exert himself. Roll Eyes  He is still waiting to hear from Shands Hospital and probably will this week. He had a busy weekend to say the least.  coolsmiley
