Greetings!

My beautiful bike has no power.

Possible contributing info:
A few months ago, I removed the tank to retrieve a piece of plastic leather thT I dropped into it by accident.  (I have successfully removed and reinstalled the tank a couple of times before. )

I haven’t ridden it since around that time due to a shoulder injury.  Was running fantastic before then. I added fuel to it a couple of days ago and it dripped a little around where the hoses connect to the stopcock assembly.  I tightened those and added more fuel today.  No leaks.

Turned on choke, cranked it up.  Let it warm while checking for a drip again.  No drips.  Warmed up nicely.  Drove it around the neighborhood and it seemed to get progressively more sluggish.  Thought I might have heard some  light clicking like valves?  Restarts fine. It no or slow power.  Have to rev slowly.  Thoughts or ideas to try?

Kinked fuel line or cracked vacuum line to petcock, or kinked vent line to tank.

Did you forget to take the choke off?

I did take off the choke but I don’t I’ll ensure it’s working properly.  Great suggestions both.  I will look into them.  It’s prime riding weather here so thx for the quick responses!

General rule of thumb.

Look at the last thing worked on.
