I’m looking for suggestions or recommendations for portable tire inflator if anyone uses one or carries one. Two of my kids no longer live home so access to the compressor in the garage doesn’t happen unless they’re here.

It for automotive use 45psi max pressure would be just fine. Either rechargeable or with a cord that plugs into car adapter.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/recommendations.

This is the model im using for a year now.
4 car tires in a row are no issue on a fully charged battery, still enough juice left for jump starting a car.
Just pay attention not to overheat it. But that is valid for all electric mini compressors.

I have it in my saddle bag on longer trips, too.

There are some different models out there. You may find them on Amazon, too.
The 8800mAh version with upgraded jump start cables I have checked and verified for real Lithium battery capacity.

I'm sure soon will drop in other useable models.

Best if luck for your choice!

I've carried a Slime portable pump and plug kit for over 15 years now. I have plugged and or inflated at least seven tires in that time and not one of them were mine.  cooldude  Newer ones are probably lighter and more compact. I would look for one that is an emergency jump pack and air pump in one if I was replacing mine.

Check out this little beauty from Aerostitch.  The SAE plug would fit the pigtail already on my bike battery for the Battery Tender Jr I use

This is supposedly the latest-greatest battery pump.

I think I have one of those gizmos that screws in to a spark plug hole and uses the cylinder compression to air up a tire (running on 5 only).  I've never used or needed it.

I will have to go outside and see which one I have.   I have several but I think I only have one for the Goldwing.  I don't think the ST has one or the Valkyrie but will look.

The one referenced about looks like it would be the right size and I might be tempted to buy one for the Valkyrie. Just need to know how big it really is.

I have one similar.  Mine is good for airing up one car tire from about 15-20 psi to 45 (where I like it).  I probably need to buy a new one, because mine is about 4 years old and the batteries don't hold a charge as well as they did when new.  It is a capacity thing.

I tried that with the last one.  The batteries were all attached with spot welds and I tried to solder the new ones in.  It didn't go well.

This is the portable tire inflator I use. I take in one of my bags whenever I go on long trips. It has enough juice to inflate 4 tires, no problem. It also doubles as a power bank in case you need to charge something via USB.

Just wanted to give you a heads-up. I got my rear tire stem valve stem replaced with a metal 90-angle one. If you have the stock rubber one you will have a clearance issue using this for the rear.

There is no Valkyrie OEM rubber stem.  The OEM stem is metal but doesn't pass through the rim, using rubber at that point allowing the stem to move at the rim.
