They're so cool...

There's a thing they do in South Carolina creeks (and I read it was only in South Carolina, apparently
different ones have worked out different tricks, like this mud ring thing) where they (sometimes one,
sometimes several) chase/herd fish up onto the shore and wiggle around there with them, eating as
many as they can catch, then they flop back out into the creek and do it again. We sat out on my
buddy Kent's dock (right next to where this Valkyrie picture was taken  Wink ) and watched them do it...

I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music.

Two years ago I was riding my Valk from St Augustine to Daytona along A1A.  I looked toward the ocean & saw about six dolphins swimming in the surf. It was one of the greatest things I've ever seen while riding.

Dolphhins are definitely a smart Mammal.

In Florida if you are caught hand feeding a Dolphin it is a automatic 20,000 dollar fine.

But if a Dolphin is caught feeding you it is OK , I guess it is all in how you look at it.

Many sailors tell of Dolphins swimming them to safety of dry land.

And Sharks don't mess with Dolphins at all, they will kill a shark.

I Kayak with them off the coast of NJ, two good things about dolphins, one...No sharks and two, water is clean...one bad thing...no fish...

Some thing about being near them make a person feel good... Grin
