I can't help but feel that the misspelling of Valkyrie and the misconception that the bike weighs 980 pounds are somehow related.....

Yeah, I get the feeling that the husband will be surprised that he is selling the bike.

My dad said the same thing. I get a bit suspicious of "we" think it is time to sell "his" bike.
