Well, I finished my cycle winter project.

I added some Kuryakyn hand grips, transmission/alternator covers, heal/toe shifter, highway pegs, and passenger pegs.

Made some side shields to hide the ugly gap under the fuel tank and put on an auxiliary power port for charging my cell phone, or to plug in my camping coffee pot.  The three switches are for the 180+ LED lights.  Added a hard wired power supply for my MP3 player and GPS.

Got some screen on my pods.  Replaced the air filter with a K&N filter, cleaned out the fuel filter and tank, replaced fuel lines, replaced the break and clutch fluids, flushed the radiator, new throttle cables, and to finish it all off, I moved my “spirit bell”.

The only thing I need now is for the snow and ice to all melt, a good hard rain to wash the sand off the roads, and a few million pot-holes to be filled!!  (that should all be done by June around here!)

I had some stuff planned for the Valk this winter...but we haven't had winter yet. Just got in from a dinner ride. Blue sky, 60 degrees in the Seattle area today. Cool

Yep, got some of it done so far:
New saddlebags
Memphis Shades fairing
Interstate gas tank
     /with petcock rebuild
New carb pins, jets, I/S springs
Light modulators, front and rear
Highway pegs
New superloud horn
replace stock mirrors (long story involving a jack and a cat....)
Jack adapter

At the rate I am going, I might be done before winter is done, maybe.
Got another inch or so of the fluffy white sunshine tonight, more on the way.
But that is ok, until it melts and the ground thaws, then my driveway turns into a quarter mile of sticky mud.

Usually mid March I'll do my bike maintenance. I don't have alot to do this year. Rear end stuff and coolant. Put a new shield on the batwing and add chrome support brackets. Might chop off more exhaust and secure the stacks from coming loose. Paint my hitch maybe. Add volume controls for the mp3 and speakers.

As a matter of fact, I did have a winter project.  Last Sunday (Valentines Day) I decided to finally do that truck stack project I had been putting off..and finally get those truck stacks off the garage floor.

Now before you ladies look over at your husbands and belittle them for taking the easy way out and buying flowers, I just want you to know that the truck stack project was not all about making Phyllis happy; I wanted those truck stacks almost as much as her!

Unfortunately the sound does not come out very well because I used my camera as a video camera...but suffice to say they have a nice throaty growl!!

Just a small one.  Started putting the trike kit on my I/S last week.  Should have the last of the pieces to my painter by Tuesday or Wednesday.  Should be ready to ride by the end of the month. Grin
