I’m reading and seeing video of the flooding that’s going on.

Hoping any members here and family/friends are safe and out of harms way and that the waters recedes very quickly.

Flash Flood warnings are out again, raining very hard.   Local weather forecaster said to expect 8 to 10 more inches of rain in our area between Friday and Sunday morning, we'll see.   Considering building an Ark but that "Cubit" thing has me confused.   Wink

But, as that country music song goes, A Country Boy Can Survive. Cheesy   The weather guesser says it's supposed to be nice sunny weather next week.   cooldude

Dennis,
I'm not sure if you are familiar with this old saying but, to suggest that it's raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock would be an understatement right now.   Got a Wx Warning on my cell phone a few minutes ago warning of 80 mph winds and tornado sirens are going off in the distance.

Thinking we're good though, strapped everything important to me down with some strong cargo straps, for some reason, my wife doesn't appreciate that.......................  Wink

Edited:   It seems the worst is over although the Wx Guesser says it's going to keep raining into the evening.   Flash Flood warnings are through out the area.   East TN, it's headed your way.   Good luck.

Yuppers cow pissin on a flat rock was one of Dads go too's! We've had flash flood warnings out since yesterday. Tornado sirens were sounding here yesterday just before school let out. There is a siren less than a block and a half from me. 42 and Windy here right now. RIDE SAFE.

Dennis,
It's continued to rain even after the winds slowed down, no idea how much rain fell (a tad over 12.5 inches in 2.5 days) but, I've seen video of rivers and streams way out of their banks and roads swamped with high water..   Once the winds died down, I took the hold-down straps off those things I cared about.  The "Spousal Unit" was finally able to get up and I've been busy hiding ever since then.  Wink

Edited to post our rainfall amount.
