A couple of years ago I had hit a deer with my 99 IS. Pod and lights replaced. Slight dent and twist in front fender. Last week I pulled the fender & took it to a body shop for repair and paint. Body guy says fender not worth repairing and painting due to rust ??? I don't believe it was that rusty, surface rust by dent and couple spots at  bottom tail of fender.

Anywho, the price of a new fender is outrageous. $800.00. I wish I had gone to the insurance co. long ago! Big lesson learned! Finding a decent used front valkyrie front fender is difficult. But I see many vtx front fenders. I don't like the look of the vtx 1800c fender on a interstate. Does anyone know if a vtx 1800R front fender fit our valks?

Thanks in advance for any answers to my winter to do list.

If you want a black one from a 2000 Tourer, send me an email (mine is still in the garage: never put it up for sale).  Wink
