I went on a ride with my club brothers, and I had no problem with right turns. it was the left turns that gave me an issue. My kick stand arm was sticking out so far that it would dig into the pavement. Any suggestions or mods to fix this issue? My one brother said we could heat it up and arm bend it up.

First, do you have the return spring (in good condition).

Second, is everything bolted up properly.

Third, is the stand bent?  It's hardened steel and hard to bend/hammer back.  And heat to bend it may destroy it (maybe not).  

In a pinch, you can bungee (or tie it up tight), until you get home.  But you have to lean it on something if you have to stop (or untie it).  I once rubbed the spring off (gone) on lousy pavement, and tied it up to get home.

I'm not sure if new ones are still available.

Take a look under the bike.  CORRECTION:  Special bolt, Item #10 holds one end of the side stand spring.  If this bolt breaks or gets bent the side stand will droop.  That (stud) bolt broke on my bike during a rough road ride.  It reminded wedged in place and I was able to carefully ride home.

If bolt #6 is damaged or missing, the switch at the stand top would probably shut the ignition down.

Maybe not, as I've never tracked when the switch breaks contact.

I'm guessing the stand bar or the frame member it's attached too is bent.

Also feel that the foot peg would scrape before un-damaged stand would, its tucked up pretty good.

There's a indent in the exhaust that the stand handle fits into, if yours doesn't, something's up.

Hook, I noticed the condition when I stopped for a break.  The bolt (stud post) snapped at the threads and did not fall out.  The post was wedged in-place held by the slot in the switch and the spring tension.  As the stud bolt was broken, the switch rotated and remained in the "ON" position.  The stand hung at a 45 degree angle and I was able to carefully ride 25 miles home.

I had that 'spring hook' bolt break on both Valkyries. I replaced the first one with a metric bolt of the same length and diameter. I slid a short piece of plastic tubing over it, leaving a gap near the head to duplicate the spring groove on the OEM bolt.

I ordered an OEM replacement but my own version worked so well that I never bothered installing it. I finally put it to use when the same bolt broke on my other Valk.

Ha, yeah, I've been involved in 2 of those stud failures.

My riding buddy broke his while we were up in NH for a weekend. We bungee corded the stand up an fashioned a 2x4 as a optional stand.  When we stopped, I'd have to position the wood stand so he could park.

I did mine in when down in NC on my maiden trip when I did a fly and ride of my IS out of GA.

My great nephew and I searched through his Dads bolt pile and found one that worked, lucky I found the spring in the road.

I ran a catch wire through the spring when I replaced the bolt, but fortunately have not tested it.

That bolt is definitely an Achilles heel on the Valk.
