If bolt #6 is damaged or missing, the switch at the stand top would probably shut the ignition down.
Maybe not, as I've never tracked when the switch breaks contact.
I'm guessing the stand bar or the frame member it's attached too is bent.
Also feel that the foot peg would scrape before un-damaged stand would, its tucked up pretty good.
There's a indent in the exhaust that the stand handle fits into, if yours doesn't, something's up.
Hook, I noticed the condition when I stopped for a break. The bolt (stud post) snapped at the threads and did not fall out. The post was wedged in-place held by the slot in the switch and the spring tension. As the stud bolt was broken, the switch rotated and remained in the "ON" position. The stand hung at a 45 degree angle and I was able to carefully ride 25 miles home.
