Great video, makes me wish I could get out for a ride up here but the weather sucks so bad I'm just not interested. This is my sixth spring up here and every year is just as bad(or worse) as the year before...it sucks. The trike is out of commission due to engine swap and the '98 2-wheeler is on a trailer for what turned out to be a no-sale...long story except he has no idea what he turned down.  I've been hesitant to get on the Tourer due to lack of use for some years, if it weren't for Nancy I'd work on getting my mojo back for two wheels but she wants to be on three.

So, I guess I'm stuck for now, our 4 month riding season will be over before you know it so hoping to make a couple memories yet this year.

Great video.... I have been riding a motorcycle since 1964.  Got my first bike then and have never been without one since.   This video tells my life story.  My wife watched it and said that towards the end of the video she said she thought she was hearing my voice telling the story.

Wow John, it doesn't seem like it's been 6 years.

That video does seem to sum it up.

Yes Jeff, it's been a loooong 6 years at that. If I hadn't met Nancy in '22, I'd now be back in Florida but her family is here so....!!  Plus she has lived here since before grade school so her only reference is the dirty old city of Green Bay. Granted, most places have that dark under belly but last winter when we spent two months in Fla., she was blown away by what she saw. Eveywhere we went, her common remark was "now I understand why you miss Florida"...made in reference to the overall beauty no matter where we went. Even the old towns we visited didn't look as run down as around here. Very depressing, we're hoping to be back down there next winter if health issues don't crop up again. This winter they were all minor but took forever to get addressed, even with plentiful doctors...like ants at a picnic, plus three hospitals. Was ridiculous. Might see you at IZ if we decide to attend, but will be sans the trike.

It is a great video. It is something only riders would understand.
I , too have been riding for over 62 years.
I like when someone talks to me with this comment. I have heard a version of it many times!

"You get to be my age  , you won't be riding"! Then I find out I am any where from their age to twenty years older.
"Well , first time you get into an accident , you will be sorry you didn't quit sooner.
My reply "I have been in nine accidents on the road"! (dirt racing not included)
Tho none have been really serious , they were still accidents!
THEN , the all important question. What kind of bike do/did you ride. I never rode. ( my wife/girlfriend wouldn't let me. )
