Livin' the Valk, er, F6B life in Central Florida.

Finished up a couple of projects I started a couple of weeks ago on Kim's Valkyrie.
Added a pair of WallyWorld cheapie driving lights to give her bike the "visibility triangle". Aimed 'em pretty much level & cocked to the roadsides for "early critter warning" purposes.

Used a neat little control clamp mounted switch from Scootworks. Dang switch was double the cost of the lamps when shipping is included!  Cheesy I like the way it clicks on/off. Might put one on my Valk & get my aux lights switch off of the rh hanger cover. I mounted it on the clutch side so the switch & wires are below the bars. Looks cleaner.

Used a relay & took power straight from the battery, fused of couse. Totally independent of the headlamp, works with key off.

Also finished modifying a HUGE T-bag that Kim bought last Biketoberfest. The bag was decent but the mounting straps were ill placed & poorly attached. Sooo... I cut 'em off & reattached them where they needed to be my way. Used SS bolts, washers & locknuts, no danger of this bag falling off!  Grin

With the round hardbag I bought for my Rocket 3 I think she FINALLY may have enough storage for a weekend trip!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Evil Last trip we made to the Keys she bought FOURTEEN pairs of Kino's sandals in Key West, mostly for her dingbat friends. Now SHE has the room to tote 'em herself!   Evil tickedoff

We are ready to roll!  cooldude

As I was putting together the post I wondered out loud how quick some one would mention that!

That's the only fluid that I haven't changed on her bike. Yet.  Cheesy

On one trip, I think it was the first Inzane in Paducah, Iris put her shoes inside mine inside the saddlebags so she could get an extra pair in there.
One thing on the installation comes to mind.  I wired a set of lights on my Tourer as you described, to the battery with fuse and a relay, only problem was the first time I rode it to Crystal River to a lunch ride I forgot to turn them off and it killed the battery.  I had to push start it and of course I had to get the rest of the gang to push me.  Embarrassed  Once you kill them, they are not the same.
When I got home I rewired it through a fuse panel that is fed from a relay triggered by the auxillary fuse which is only hot with the key is on.
If she fills the big bag up, she will have to be careful not to do wheelies!!!
