I'd buy it for $10,000!.....I paid $9,400 for my Green/Silver Interstate with 29,000miles on it in August of 2004 and was able to buy some of the last remaining, hard to find items for it such as the stock CB, pod lights and stuff like that.....it already had the 4 piece Ultimate seat set and a few other goodies on it when I bought it.....I'm sure I've put over $5,000 more dollars into it since I bought it and enjoy it just as much today as I did the day I bought it.....and I don't plan on selling it ANYTIME soon.....but if something ever happened and I needed another Valk.....ONLY an Interstate would interest me and I'd be more than happy to pay for one with all the bells and whistles already installed...... cooldude

I think Joe will regret selling that bike in the long run.....I love Valks.....but anything other than an Interstate is like buying a cake without the icing!!..... Wink

Hi, Steve.

I would advise you not to buy Joe's Interstate.  Although it's a first class machine with an abundance of hard to find chrome add-ons, and although Joe cares for his bikes with unparalleled skill and attention to detail, I'm sure you can find a cheaper and less beautifully appointed bike for your use.  Besides the aforementioned reasons, Joe really doesn't need to sell that bike right now and should be asking $11,500 for it, and it has a scratch on it.

(P.S. I intend to buy Joe's Interstate myself in a few months when the necessary cash flow comes together.   Wink  )

How dare you, Britman is an American I'm proud to know. You would be correct to call him and Ex-Brit but he is American now. (semi smiley>>)  Undecided

All of Joe's bikes are in top condition. The bike is certainly worth the money. I wouldn't sell my I/S for  any amount. I hope you buy it so I won't have to hear him complain about the color any longer. Smiley

I sold my 2000 red & black interstate...the one in my profile picture, last November. It also had every piece of honda chrome and all extra's on it. It brought $11,600 on e-bay.  If I was looking for another interstate, I would buy Joe's. You won't find one that has been taken better care of.

I ran into one of my SCRC Buddies who had a Green/Silver IS like mine.....it didn't have as much bling on it, but a guy wanted to buy it from him and he threw a $12,000 figure up and the guy bought it right then......he said he got a Hardley Ultra Classic.....I'm sure he'll regret selling it also.... Saw it yesterday and the day before and jst saw it on the internet, I think you should come over here and get to know some of us first before becoming a Brother Valkyrie Rider.

Get the feel for the brand and check out all three of his machines.

Mostly I have a question, why inthe HeXX would you buy an American Valk when you can buy one in Europe or even in England.

My preference is Kawasaki or Harley.

But surely to goodness you can find a bike in that country of yours.

I'll sell you a Harley For only 15,000 dollars and it' got extended warranty until 2012.

My point is if you are going to seriously buy this thing you should come over and check it out in person .

We or he will show you a good time and you can experience some of the best motorcycle riding in the world.

Tehy rent all kinds of bikes here for this purpose and you can ride along, a exp. you will never forget.

Wiht personal tour guides for free.
So quit wondering and commit to a real american exp. and get your butt over here.

Hi Al,
If you read some of my earlier post's on either site.. you would know that i have already owned 2 Valkyrie's Standards.. still have one 1998 yellow & cream.. love to come over but the wife's going in hospital for a hip replacement shortly.. so she will be needing a bit more comfort...Hence the Interstate.. hope this helps.. i'm always on the look so if can give me the address of the european site i will have a look see.. as for any for sale in this country ..well.. you would have more luck trying to find rocking horse crap .....Steve.

Go for it.  That is a sweeeeeet ride.    You will not regret it, and Joe is a stand up guy.  Although, I hate sending another Valk over the pond.

Well, I use to own it and wish I still did. It was maintained perfectly when I had it by the local Honda dealer.  The guy I sold it to was afraid of it and didnt put a 100 miles on it. It is well worth the 10k.
