Well, Paul and I left Lynchburg, VA at 4:00am on Friday with a destination of the Cleavland Clinic Hospital for his yearly check on his Defribrultor (SP?) that was put in last Feb. 9th. As you all know, that was a very stressful time for us. Anyway, we rolled into Cleavland at 11:30am and his appointment wasnt until 1:40.
So we had plenty of time to get a bite to eat. I remembered a place called the Chicago Deli just across the street that served AWESOME sandwhichs from last year, so off we went.
I had a Corned Beef and Pastrami with swiss on Rye and he had a Rueben (Corned Beef with Sour Kraut with swiss cheese). Damn they were good. Here is a picture that he took with his phone:

As for his appointment with the DR., It seems that things are going pretty well for him. There are no more thickening of the heart wall from his last check, and they are comfortable letting him come back just yearly now for his EKG.
Also, Plans are still being made, he is plannig his wedding for July 4th at the MGM Grand in Detroit, and Monday he has an interview to see if he get to go to Med school in St. Kitts in the Carribian!!!
So, Please keep him in your thought and prayers one more time, and hope he gets this appointment in this Med School!
Thanks again,
Tom and Joanne Tompkins
