Thanks to Early Bird for hosting this fine VRCC event here in Central Texas. cooldude

The day started out in Southwest Austin real nasty with fog and drizzle making the roads mighty slick.  Santa bravely lead the way as only eight bikes took on the elements.

Our first stop was in Marble Falls for lunch at the Bluebonnet Cafe as the clouds started to lift a bit.  Everyone of the "Crazy Eight" bikes where covered in mud due to riding by a quarry that had not cleaned the road outside their entrance.  Also, some of the other folks who had waited out the fog and drizzle made their way to the Bluebonnet and we got to meet up.

After lunch the "Crazy Eight" headed towards Ink's Lake and got some really great riding in.

We got to the Wild Game Dinner early - just like last year - and relaxed for a bit before chowing down.  (I think I'm starting to figure out why Ray's handle is "Early Bird"!)

The rest of the Mid-Winter group - who had done a bit of riding themselves - showed up and we had a full house!

Just one of the plates of pheasant enchiladas, venison ribs, rabbit dumplings, etc....

Here's all the rest of the pics I took:

All in all a great day of riding, eating, visiting and having a good time! Smiley
