I have a 02 standard that has a bad engine that I am thinking of selling or parting out any ideas on the value either way.The engine has water in the oil an coming out the exhaust.The heads have been machined flat an checked for leaks they are ok.Head gaskets replaced an still leaking an not firing on #1 cyl.I'm calling it quits an looking for a different bike.Trans is good an rear is like new [splines] leather like saddlebags VTX headlight an windshield,corbin seat,car tire ,98000 mi. but only a bad engine.Art

Since I guy can find a decent runner for close to $5K... as is... don't be surprised to get offered a couple grand, or so.  I'd part it out... you'd probably get more money out of it that way.

I hate to see Valks get parted out.  Surely someone on here has a good motor with busted up running gear.  At least we could keep one more on the road instead of the community loosing two.
